Journalist Sagarika Ghose bids adieu to CNN-IBN on Twitter

Ghose, deputy editor of the channel and wife of its editor-in-chief Rajdeep Sardsai had gone on a leave last month and it was hoped that she would return if one judged by the email he had sent to his team about their departure.
Sagarika had gone on leave with her husband IBN18 editor in chief Rajdeep Sardesai last month and speculation was that she would not return to the channel, which is a part of the Network18 group, now owned by Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries and might join Headlines Today, owned by TV Today Network.
Ghose also sent a message to her colleagues at CNN-IBN wherein she said she was leaving the channel to try something "a little more challenging and creative, explore new vistas in reportage and commentary after almost a quarter of a century in journalism, among them 9 fabulous years at CNN-IBN," one report said.
Sagarika Ghose is the daughter of former Doordarshan director general Bhaskar Ghose.
Speculation is rife that Rajdeep Sardesai would also follow his wife's footsteps soon.
