The Jio MAMI Mumbai Festival promises to be a star-studded affair, with Priyanka Chopra herself hosting the opening night alongside Isha Ambani. One of the festival's highlights is the screening of 'The Buckingham Murders,' directed by Hansal Mehta and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. This gripping film will kickstart the festival on October 27 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. Notably, 'The Buckingham Murders' previously had its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival. Anupama Chopra, the Festival Director at Jio MAMI, expressed delight at featuring the film as the festival's opening night attraction, praising Hansal Mehta and Ekta Kapoor for redefining storytelling.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who co-produced the film, expressed her excitement about 'The Buckingham Murders' opening the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. She shared, "The Buckingham Murders is very special for me since it's my maiden voyage as a co-producer. Working with Hansal and Ektaa is a deeply satisfying and immersive process.
