Holi Special Trains From Mumbai: 18 Extra Services To Banaras, Danapur, And Other Key Destinations

In preparation for the upcoming Holi festival, Central Railway will operate an additional 18 special trains on key routes to facilitate smooth and comfortable travel for passengers, according to a Punekar report. These trains will connect major destinations across India, including Mumbai, Mau, Danapur, Banaras, Samastipur, Kanniyakumari, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Key Routes and Train Details

1. LTT-Danapur-LTT Bi-Weekly Special (Six trips)

The train (01009) will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 12:15 hrs on March 10, 15, and 17, arriving at Danapur at 17:00 hrs the following day.
The return service (01010) will leave Danapur at 18:15 hrs on March 11, 16, and 18, arriving at LTT Mumbai at 04:40 hrs on the third day.
Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, and several other stations along the route.
Composition: 06 Sleeper Class, 9 AC-III Tier, One AC-2 Tier, One AC-2 Tier cum AC-III Tier, 3 General Second Class, and 2 Second Class-cum-Luggage-cum Guard's Coaches (22 Coaches).

2. LTT-Mau-LTT Bi-Weekly Special (Eight trips)

The train (01123) will depart from LTT at 12:15 hrs on March 7, 9, 14, and 16, reaching Mau at 20:20 hrs the next day.
The return service (01124) will depart Mau at 05:50 hrs on March 9, 11, 16, and 18, arriving at LTT at 16:45 hrs the following day.
Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Pipariya, and other stations.
Composition: 06 Sleeper Class, 9 AC-III Tier, One AC-2 Tier, One AC-2 Tier cum AC-III Tier, 3 General Second Class including 1 Generator Car, and 2 Second Class-cum-Luggage-cum Guard's Coaches (22 Coaches).

3. LTT-Banaras-LTT Bi-Weekly Special (Four trips)

The train (01053) will depart LTT at 12:15 hrs on March 12 and 13, arriving in Banaras at 16:05 hrs the following day.
The return service (01054) will leave Banaras at 20:30 hrs on March 13 and 14, arriving at LTT at 04:40 hrs on the third day.
Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Pipariya, and other stations.
