Mumbai: Fire breaks out at Goregaon Film City; no casualties reported

Mumbai, Sept 25: A

broke out in the Goregaon Film City on Wednesday morning at the set of popular TV show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', hosted by stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma at Colors.

According to reports, the fire broke out at 8.15 am at the gate number 2 of the Film City and four fire engines, five tankers and an ambulance were rushed to the spot, fire brigade officials said.

Although the fire has been brought under control and fortunately no casualties have been reported, but the set is reportedly completely destroyed and reduced to ashes.

The extent of the damage and cause of the fire are yet to be ascertained. The famous singer Sonu Nigam, who was to attend Kapil's show this week tweeted:
