Fire at Mumbai's Lokhandwala Complex Kills Three, Including Two Senior Citizens
A fire broke out at Mumbai's Lokhandwala Complex, claiming the lives of three residents, including two senior citizens. The cause of the blaze, which was quickly brought under control, is under investigation.
Three people lost their lives after a fire broke out at a building in Mumbai's Lokhandwala Complex, according to a report by PTI citing civic officials. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated that while the fire was not classified as major, three residents, including two senior citizens, were injured and taken to Cooper Hospital, who were declared brought dead.

The fire occurred in a 14-story building, Riya Palace, located on Cross Road Number 4, Andheri West. It started in an apartment on the 10th floor at around 8:05 am and was brought under control within an hour.
The victims were identified as Chandraprakash Soni (74), Kanta Soni (74), and Pelubeta (42), all of whom were declared dead upon reaching the hospital. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
