Diljit had originally announced the India leg of his tour in September, with the planned cities being Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. In a statement earlier, Diljit expressed his happiness about bringing the Dil-Luminati tour to India. He said, "Bringing the Dil-Luminati Tour to India is a dream come true. After the incredible journey abroad, performing in my homeland feels like coming full circle. The love and energy I've felt from fans around the world have been extraordinary, but there's something uniquely special about performing here, where it all began. India, get ready, because Punjabi ghar aa gaye oye! We're going to make history together - I can promise you a night you'll never forget!"

In recent news, Diljit made headlines for receiving a legal notice from the Telangana government after a performance in Hyderabad. The notice, issued just hours before the concert, asked him not to sing songs promoting alcohol, drugs, or violence. Diljit responded by releasing a video addressing the issue, calling out the government for allowing liquor sales, which he argued were a significant revenue source. He also stated that he would stop making songs on alcohol if a nationwide ban on liquor was implemented.

On the acting front, Diljit is gearing up for his role in Border 2, alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The movie, based on the historic Battle of Longewala, is set to begin shooting in November.
