Caught On Cam: Mumbai Woman Drowns In Sea While Taking Pic
A video of a woman drowning in the sea in Mumbai's Bandra has surfaced online. The shocking incident occurred on July 9 but the clip has come to light only now.
The victim has been identified as Jyoti Sonar. In the video, she is seen posing with her husband for the camera when a high tide swept her away in the sea at Bandstand.

The video was being captured by her children and their cry can her heard in the video as the wave carried her away.
After a 20-hour rescue operation, the Indian Coast Guard recovered the body of the 27-year-old woman who drowned in the sea in the western suburb of Bandra on July 10.
Her husband informed the cops that he was saved by a man but his wife was swept by the current. "I lost my balance and we both slipped. A man held me while I grabbed my wife, but she could not be saved," NDTV quoted him as saying.
Responding to the viral clip, a user wrote, "I honestly don't know why people take such dangerous risks only for a few photos rocky sea shores during high tide are very dangerous. Poor Child will be traumatized for life now."
