In addition, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced the establishment of Maharashtra's third international airport in Palghar. Palghar is also set to benefit from the development of the Mumbai-Vadodara National Highway, which adds yet another layer of connectivity, enhancing the district's appeal for investments and development projects. In a move to support local communities, the "Government at Your Doorstep" initiative, launched by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has reached Palghar, where residents have access to more than 400 government schemes. This initiative aims to streamline access to government resources and support for rural communities, reducing bureaucratic hurdles and improving efficiency. Beneficiaries have received support for various programs directly in their districts, increasing the government's outreach to tribal and rural communities.

BJP, which has maintained strong influence in rural Palghar under the late Chintaman Vanga's leadership, has built a solid base in the district.
