Bomb Threatens Mumbai: 11 Locations Including Three Banks Targeted
Panic gripped Mumbai on Tuesday as bomb threats targeting three prominent financial institutions - the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank - triggered a city-wide security operation.
Emails demanding the resignations of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman were received just before 11 locations across Mumbai were flagged as potential targets for detonation at 1:30 PM.

Swift action by authorities saw Mumbai police scrambling to secure all designated locations, conducting thorough searches that thankfully yielded no evidence of explosives or suspicious activity. Despite the lack of immediate danger, the incident underscores the need for continued vigilance and robust security measures.
A case has been registered at the MRA Marg Police Station, and investigations are ongoing to identify the source of the threats and ensure the safety of Mumbai's residents and financial institutions.
