BiggBoss 17 Winner Munawar Faruqui Detained By Mumbai Police, Details Inside
Munawar Faruqui, BiggBoss 17 Winner and Stand-up comedian was detained by the Mumbai Police on Tuesday during a raid at a hookah parlour. According to the reports, Police detained Munawar along with other youngsters when they raided an illegally running hookah parlour where a party was going on. However, he was released later, reported ANI.
The reports, police has seized nine hookah pots worth ₹ 13,500 and some cash from the Hookah parlour running in the city's Fort area.

The police detained Munawar and other youngsters who were smoking hookah under sections of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act.
Munawar Faruqui has a massive fan following nationwide and his standup comedy videos loaded with political satire are very popular among youngsters.
Shedding light on the incident, a senior police official told the media, "During the raid, the police found stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and others smoking hookahs at the joint. We also have a video of their act. We detained Faruqui and others, but they were later allowed to go as the sections slapped against them were bailable."
A few days ago, another YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav was arrested. The Greater Noida police held him for allegedly selling snake poison at a high-profile party. However, he got bail from the court but the investigation is the case is underway.
After coming out of jail, Elvish Yadav took social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to inform about his health. He said, "Thank you to all those who prayed for me, I am fine and in good health."
