Bandra Terminus Stampede: Nine Injured In Platform Rush
A stampede at Mumbai's Bandra Terminus resulted in nine injuries amid a chaotic rush on platform number 1.
The injured passengers were promptly transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, as reported by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), as reported by ANI.

A stampede at Bandra Terminus early Sunday morning left nine passengers injured, with two in critical condition. The incident occurred around 2:55 AM on Platform No. 1 as a large crowd gathered for the Bandra-Gorakhpur Express, which was set to depart at 5:10 AM. The overwhelming rush of passengers led to chaos, resulting in the stampede, as reported by Times Now.
The injured were swiftly taken to Bandra Bhabha Hospital for treatment. Dr. Ritesh, the Medical Officer at the hospital, confirmed that nine individuals had been admitted. While most are reported to be stable, two passengers remain in critical condition and are receiving intensive care, as reported by Times Now.
Among the injured are Shabbir Abdul Rehman (40), Parmeshwar Sukhdar Gupta (28), Ravindra Harihar Chuma (30), Ramsevak Ravindra Prasad Prajapati (29), Sanjay Tilakram Kangay (27), Divyanshu Yogendra Yadav (18), Mohammad Shareef Shaikh (25), Indrajith Sahani (19), and Noor Mohammad Shaikh (18). Both Indrajith and Noor Mohammad are in critical condition, as per the media report.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the stampede and are working on strategies to better manage crowds in the future to prevent similar incidents.
