Axis My India Exit Polls: Will Mahayuti Outperform MVA In Maharashtra? Find Out
The Mahayuti alliance is predicted to secure 30 out of 46 assembly seats in Marathwada, while the Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is expected to win 15 seats, according to the Axis My India Exit Poll.
In terms of vote share, the Mahayuti is projected to receive 45%, the MVA 38%, and other parties and independents are estimated to garner 5%.

In the 2019 Assembly elections, the BJP won 26 seats, the undivided Shiv Sena secured 20, while the Congress and NCP each won 23 seats in the state.
This year, the Mahayuti alliance comprises the BJP contesting 149 seats, the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) fielding candidates in 81 constituencies, and the Ajit Pawar-led NCP contesting 59 seats. On the other side, the MVA alliance features Congress with 101 candidates, the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) contesting 95 seats, and the Sharad Pawar-led NCP fielding 86 candidates.
Exit polls from other sources suggest a competitive race between the two alliances. The Times Now-JVC Exit Poll projected a close contest in Mumbai, with the Mahayuti likely to win 17-19 seats and the MVA 16-18 seats.
Similarly, the Republic TV-Matrize Exit Poll, in line with Axis My India, gave the Mahayuti an edge in Mumbai, predicting 20-26 seats for the BJP-led alliance and 9-15 seats for the MVA.
These projections highlight a high-stakes political battle, particularly in regions like Marathwada and Mumbai, as both alliances aim to consolidate their hold on Maharashtra.
