Atal Setu Bridge In Mumbai, Inaugurated by PM Modi, Develops Major Cracks Just 5 Months After Opening
The Mumbai-Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) bridge, dubbed 'Atal Setu', has been marred by cracks just days after its grand inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The cracks, measuring a staggering 2-3 feet long, have left authorities scrambling to contain the damage.
This multi-crore project, which cost a whopping ₹17,840 crore to build, was touted as the longest bridge in India and the longest sea bridge in the country. But now, its integrity has been called into question.

A video has surfaced on social media showing the alarming cracks, sending shockwaves across the nation.
Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole was quick to inspect the damage and launch a scathing attack on the Maharashtra government.
"This is a clear case of corruption," Patole said. "The entire state is rotten with corruption. We will expose many more examples of corruption in the Vidhan Sabha. While Atal Bihari Vajpayee is revered by the people of India, the BJP doesn't hesitate to commit corruption in his name."
Patole's remarks have sparked outrage among BJP leaders, who have hit back at him for his allegations. But one thing is clear: the cracks in Atal Setu have opened up a whole new can of worms in Maharashtra politics.
