7 superintendent engineers posts on deputation approved

Mumbai, Oct 25: In a move to expedite housing for police personnel, Maharashtra government today approved filling of seven posts for Superintendent Engineers on deputation to the State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation.

The decision was taken in the weekly cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis here.

"In order to ensure housing for police personnel, the corporation has been granted permission to fill seven superintendent engineers posts on deputation," an official in the CMO said.

In another decision, cabinet approved implementation of revised pay package as per Sixth Pay Commission to teaching and non-teaching staff of D B Deopdhar Krida Probodhini's College affiliated to the Shivchatrapati Sports University at Balewadi, Pune.

The cabinet also sanctioned upgradation of primary Ashram school run by Yamgarwadi, social organisation which runs educational centre for students of nomadic tribe, in Osmanabad district to 8th, 9th and 10th grade residential secondary Ashram school as a special case.
