6-year-old boy beaten, locked in bathroom for peeing in bed

Chembur, Aug 11: A six-year-old boy was mercilessly beaten up and locked in the bathroom by hostel management for peeing in bed.

The victim Kabhir Singh was admitted in Aaradhya International Hostel which is run by Malhar and Supriya Jadhav by his sister Neetu.

Kabir hails from Gwalior and Neetu is a resident of Chembur, she is the youngest of the seven siblings. She brought Kabir to Mumbai for schooling and got him enrolled in the hostel.

Neetu admitted his little brother in Aaradhya International Hostel thinking that he will be ensured good education and will be taken care of.

The yearly fees sums up to Rs 1.2 lakhs and 4-5,000 additional charges are also made every month. Neetu's three year old daughter is also a student of the institution.

On Sunday, Neetu went to pick Kabir from school and noticed injuries and rushed to hospital.

Later Kabir revealed how he used to get thrashed by the school authorities.

The food provided to the kids were too spicy and if he refused to eat that, he was beaten up. Things got worse on Saturday night when the boy peed on his bed.

The couple thrashed him brutally and locked him inside the bathroom for the whole night.

Neetu approached the police and an FIR was filed against the couple under IPC Sections 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), 324 (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
