Dalit girl eve-teased and photographed in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar, Jul 21: A Dalit college student was allegedly eve-teased and photographed by two youths following which one of them was arrested at Mansoorpur village in the district, police said on Monday.

The incident took place yesterday when the girl was going out from her house after which she was intercepted by the two youths, they said.

The accused eve-teased the girl, taking an objectionable photograph of hers and also threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone, Circle Officer D K Mittal told newspersons here today.

A case has been registered against the two accused Suhail and Naushad, he said.

Naushad has been arrested in this connection and police are searching for the other accused, he said.
