The pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which many initially thought was their wedding, continues to be viral on the internet. Photographer David Bastianoni had the opportunity to capture this winter wonderland wedding, which he described as nothing short of magical. "Imagine this: 2,727 metres high, the breathtaking scenery of Zermatt's ski slopes, with the majestic Matterhorn as our witness," he wrote, sharing the wedding photos on Instagram.

The wedding was filled with extravagant elements. A performance artist dressed as a swan and two others in gigantic floral skirts played the violin as the bride walked down the aisle in her gorgeous, lacy wedding gown.

The floral design direction for the wedding was managed by the company I Am Flower, which had less than 40 days to prepare everything, including design, structure calculation, flower selection, and color coordination.

"We had to travel by train and walk in the snow every day to work at the venue, encountering obstacles like storms, snowfall, bad weather, and negative temperatures," mentioned I Am Flower in one of their Instagram posts.

Meanwhile, Tehiya Narvel Events handled the concept, design, and planning for the wedding, also known for organizing Sonam Babani and Neil Sanghvi's viral wedding at the same location.

Babani and Sanghvi's wedding took place in May 2022, suggesting that Darren Leung and Lucy Leung may have drawn inspiration from this Indian wedding for their Scottish affair.

The trend of celebrating unions in a luxurious manner is gaining popularity among Indian couples, extending beyond celebrities.

According to Mohsin Khan, founder of Vivah Luxury Weddings, today's Indian weddings serve as status symbols, with budgets exceeding Rs 5 crore to showcase hosts differently from others, as reported by India Today.
