Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri Crowned Miss World 2025
Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand has been crowned as 72nd Miss World pageant 2025. The event, which witnessed participants from across the globe, took place at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Telangana, marking a significant occasion where cultures and beauty from around the world converged. Opal Suchata's triumph was celebrated as she was ceremoniously crowned by her predecessor, Miss World 2024 Krystyna Pyszkova, in a finale that was both glamorous and culturally rich.
The Miss World 2025 pageant was not just a showcase of beauty but also of talent and intellect, with 108 contestants vying for the prestigious title. Among them, Nandini Gupta represented India, making a notable impression by securing a place in the top 20. This achievement highlighted India's continued presence and competitive spirit in the global beauty arena. The pageant's grandeur was further amplified by the traditional and modern elements that it embraced, including the hosting and performances that were integral to the event's success.

The finale was hosted by Stephanie del Valle, Miss World 2016, who donned a traditional Indian lehenga, adding a touch of local culture to the global event. She was accompanied by Sachiin Kumbhar, together bringing life to the ceremony. The evening was further enlivened by performances from Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khatter, blending entertainment with the pageant's celebratory essence.
The judging panel for this edition of Miss World included notable personalities such as actor Sonu Sood, who was honored with the Miss World Humanitarian Award, highlighting the pageant's commitment to social causes. Sudha Reddy, serving as the 2025 Global Ambassador for Beauty With a Purpose, and Dr Caryna Turrell, a public health physician and Miss England 2014, brought their expertise to the jury. Julia Morley CBE, the Chairwoman of Miss World, led the panel, ensuring a fair and insightful adjudication process.
