Apple Stuffing Recipe: Perfect for Pork Chops and Roast Turkey

• 1½ cups cornbread, crumbled finely
• ½ cup dried apples
• ½ cup apple jelly
• ¼ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
• Kosher salt, to taste
• Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• 2 tbsp white granulated sugar
• 4 egg yolks, beaten
• 4 egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks with ⅛ tsp cream of tartar
• ¼ cup shredded Fontina cheese

• Mixing bowls
• Roasting pan
• Oven
• Spoon for folding ingredients

Procedure

1. Combine all ingredients except the cheese and egg whites in a mixing bowl.
2. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites in a few batches until well incorporated.
3. Pour the mixture into a roasting pan.

5. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for about 30 minutes or until the top is browned and bubbly.
