The Pinda Daan ritual involves offering pinda made of rice and flour to ancestors. After completing the puja, Brahmins receive prasad and dakshina. Holy cows, crows, dogs, and ants are also fed with prasad.

Devotees often organise recitals of 'Bhagavata Purana' and 'Bhagavad Gita' with family members. These recitals add spiritual depth to the observance and help in seeking blessings for the deceased.
