TMC announces party-level probe into Narada sting op, Oppn not convinced
Kolkata, April 9: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) announced a party-level probe into the Narada sting operation against some of its own leaders on Saturday, two days ahead of Phase 1B of the Assembly elections.
State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee announced this at the party office here. He, however, also said the probe will also see if anybody from the opponent parties is found involved in the episode, steps will be taken on that as well.

The Opposition was not convinced. Who will probe whom in a party which is entirely corrupt, they asked. They said the decision for party probe is only a cosmetic one as the supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was found shielding the accused.
State Congress president Adhir Chowdhury said it was nothing but handing out lollypops ahead of the election.
A number of top leaders, ministers and MPs were seen 'accepting' bribe for helping set up a firm, as was exposed in a series of sting operation revealed by Narada News portal.
