Bengal BJP sells essentials at NDA-time prices to campaign for Modi

"We are doing this to expose the skyrocketing prices of essential goods in the time of the United Progressive Alliance at the Centre. The people will be able to buy essential goods at such low prices again if Narendra Modi becomes the prime minister," state BJP chief Rahul Sinha said.

The BJP carried out a campaign in the state capital and three adjoining districts in a decorated launch, said the report. Local leaders spoke to the common people during the campaign. They also plan to undertake a similar campaign ahead of Modi's rally in West Bengal.
