Video of hissing protest: Men enact 'nagin' dance against PWD officials in Maharashtra
Mumbai, April 30: A few local men staged a unique protest against officials in Buldhana district of Maharashtra by enacting a 'nagin' dance (snake dance).
In the above video, it is seen the protesters carrying out the unique act around Public Works Department (PWD) officials who remained sitted on a table with a grim face. The enthusiastic protesters used up the entire room space to improvise on the trade-mark 'nagin' moves with their hands raised.

It was said the protest was held after the PWD officials showed little concern over condition of roads near the Chhatrapati Shuvaji Market despite repeated complaints, according to an ANI report.
However, we also had a far more serious protest in Harraiya in Basti district of UP around five years ago when a snakecharmer, angry after being denied land, let loose a few real snakes in the land revenue office, leaving the officials shellshocked.
