Kolkata, March 25: There seems to be no end to the BJP's campaigning surprises. After the Chai Pe Charcha and Kissan o pe Charcha initiatives, now voters across the country are set to receive mail from the party's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi. According to a report published in Bengali daily Anandabazar Patrika on Tuesday, the party's organisation which had taken the Cha pe Charch initiative has also led the initiative to send Modi's personal letters to the voters. The letters, translated in various languages, will be delivered by party workers. The messengers will wear a special dress and they will use bicycles sent from New Delhi.

The BJP is ecstatic over the idea. West Bengal state BJP leadership, for example, felt that this will have a long-term advantage for the common people will try to keep such letters in their collection in case Modi becomes the prime minster. West Bengal BJP chief Rahul Gandhi welcomed the idea.

Meanwhile, the RSS and the BJP have been conducting joint campaigning in 12 out of 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state, said the report.

The BJP has also given special focus on its organisation at the grassroots. It is working on graffitis, distributing leaflests and has also set up monitoriing bodies to oversee the work of the cadres. The party is hopeful that the BJP play a decisive role in a number of seats in West Bengal this year which will help it grow in the future.
