Mamata holds meeting with top East Midnapore officials

Kolaghat(WB), Sept 13: West Bengal Chief Minister on Friday held a high-level review meeting with the top officials of the East Midnapore district administration here.
Mamata Banerjee held the meeting with the Sabhadipati Madhurima Bhattacharya, District Magistrate Antara Acharya, Superintendent of Police Sukesh Jain, all the Sub-Divisional Officers, Block Development Officers, official sources said.
In the meeting the chief minister reviewed the progress of the various development schemes in the district and the work of the district administration.
Mamata also distributed bicycles to some students in the meeting.
After the meeting with the top district administration officials, Banerjee held a public meeting and announced a slew of projects in the district.
She announced that the Moyna-Tamluk road, the road to Digha, a popular tourist resort would be widened. Banerjee also announced many flood control measures to taken up to control flood in the district.
She also distributed bicycles to some students in the meeting.
