Kolkata, Jan 30: West Bengal Chief Minister and

(TMC) chief

at Brigade Ground here on Thursday. People from various corners of the state were seen arriving at the venue in large numbers to hear the leader. A special train was arranged to bring supporters from Bankura district to Kolkata on Wednesday evening.

Senior TMC leaders, ministers, MLAs, MPs and local celebrities and artistes attended the rally. Former Railway Minister Mukul Roy has organised the rally. Gorkha Janmukti Morcha chief Bimal Gurung, the Imam of the Tipu Sultan mosque in Kolkata and party representatives from many other states were also present.
