Earthquake: School building staircase collapses in Bengal, 40 kids injured
Malda (WB), April 25: Forty children were injured after a staircase in a school building collapsed here during strong tremors caused by a devastating earthquake in Nepal on Friday morning.
The children, featuring both girls and boys, were rushed to the hospital.

Over 500 people were reportedly killed in Nepal after an earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter Scale rocked the Himalayan nation. Tremors were felt across several states across northern India.
A few heritage sites in Nepal were also destroyed in the earthquake. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called up the prime minister and president of Nepal and extended fast help to Kathmandu in carrying out the relief work. Over 20 people were killed in India.
