Congress stages rally near CBI office
The police stopped the rally from marching towards the gate of the CBI office where TMC's women supporters sat on a dharna to protest against the CBI probe.
West Bengal Congress president Adhir Chowdhury described the stopping of the rally by the police as a 'shame', regretting that "while the TMC was being allowed to hold the dharna, we are not allowed".
Police officials in Bidhanagar Police commissionarate refused to comment on the matter.
