CISF constable shoots himself dead
Canning (WB), Apr 29: A CISF constable, who was on area domination duty in South 24 Pargana district, allegedly shot himself dead outside a school building at Mondolpara in Gosaba area here today.
The 32-yr-old man posted as a constable in 505(B) company of CISF, was identified as Jasai Hansda, police said, adding he was a native of Jharkhand.

Hansda was on rotation-wise sentry duty at S S K School to watch over polling booth no 45 under Gosaba (SC) Assembly constituency during fifth phase of polling tomorrow.
He was found lying in a pool of blood by three of his colleagues after they heard gunshots at 1.50 AM, Superintendent of police Sunil Chowdhury said.
His colleagues were resting in the school building at the time of the incident. Hansda was declared brought dead when he was rushed to Gosaba hospital, police said. The body has been sent to postmortem, they added.
