BJP hires special train for Narendra Modi's Kol rally for Rs 22 lakh

Many of those who boarded the special train from Balurghat on Tuesday evening had a first-time experience of travelling in a train. For many, it was a big chance to explore Kolkata while for others, witnessing Modi was a lifetime opportunity.

Local BJP leaders also thanked the state leadership for responding to their request to hire a special train to take supporters to Kolkata. The trend has been seen in other states as well where the BJP made arrangements for special trains and buses to bring their supporters watch and hear Modi.
Modi is set to kick off his campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha election in eastern part of India through the Kolkata rally. He will visit the northeast and other eastern states like Odisha during this leg of his campaign.
