Amit Shah woos Muslims, stops midway during speech as azan sounds
Kolkata, Dec 1: BJP President Amit Shah not only managed to launch a scathing attack on West Bengal's chief minister Mamata Banerjee but also managed to woo the Muslim population here after he stopped mid way during his speech when the azan sounded at the nearby mosque.
Shah, whose rally witnessed initial hiccups after the police refused permission to hold the rally, stopped on hearing the azan and said: "Let us stop. We don't want to give Mamata any excuse."

Some of his supporters were seen raising slogans while the azan was on and Shah signalled them to stop.
Shah during his rally did not think twice and attacked Mamata on many issues including the Burdwan blast, Saradha scam and the black money issue.
Not only this but he also spoke about the unemployment amongst the youth in WB.
On Monday however the TMC hit back at Shah and raised slogans against him saying that Shah was involved in the Sahara scam. TMC MPs were seen raising slogans outside of Parliament.
