Am not making beauty packs for poll campaign: TMC's Moon Moon Sen

On Monday, Sen spoke to the Times of India (read full interview here) when she expressed displeasure with people advising her on how to cope with the intense heat in Bankura in April and May. "It is the same heat that envelops the whole of India. I have not come from Alaska to foray into Indian politics. I think I will be sensible, start early in the morning, avoid the afternoons and be out again in the evening," she said in the interview.
Sen said she has experience of dealing with intense heat during shooting of her films and that is nothing new. "I am not preparing beauty packs for the campaign. Everyone is worried about my skin but I feel if I eat right and sleep right, that will get me through," she told the interviewer.
Bankura will go to the polls on May 7.
