50 flights delayed due to radar problem at Kolkata airport

, Oct 30: Around 50 flights were delayed at the N S C Bose International Airport here on Monday evening and Tuesday due to some problem with the route

and approach radar, airport sources said on Wednesday.

There was some problem with the route surveillance and approach radar of the airport from Monday evening till 11 AM on Tuesday, the sources said.

Due to the problem in two radars around 50 flights were delayed for 15-20 minutes each, they said.

Both the radars have been repaired and they are functioning normally now, the sources added.
