Kochi: SFI activist stabbed to death at Maharaja's College

Kochi, July 2: A second year chemistry student who was also a member of Students' Federation of India (SFI), was stabbed to death allegedly by Campus Front of India workers at Maharaja's College in Kochi on Sunday.

The victim has been identified as Abhimanyu a native of Marayoor in Idukki who was a second year BSC Chemistry student and SFI leader at the college.

Another student identified as Arjun was also critically injured in the attack and has been admitted to Medical Trust Hospital.

According to the police, the clash erupted over a dispute between the groups regarding posters inside the campus.
