33-Year-Old Kochi-Based Food Vlogger Rahul N Kutty Found Dead, Investigation Underway

In a tragic turn of events, popular Kochi-based food vlogger Rahul N Kutty was Found dead in his apartment in Tripunithura on Friday night. He was 33. The circumstances surrounding his demise remain shrouded in uncertainty, prompting a police investigation into the matter.

Rahul's untimely passing has sent shockwaves throughout the vlogging and social media influencer community, with many expressing their grief and disbelief.

Expressing their grief, a fellow vlogger, foodiemenon, paid tribute, saying, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend and little brother @rahulsfoodscenes!! So many beautiful memories of having food together with you, dear! Gone too soon!! Rest in peace, Rahul."

Rahul rose to fame through his videos showcasing prominent restaurants and culinary delights in and around Kochi. His channel, Eat Kochi Eat, catapulted him to local stardom. His final video, featured on East Kochi East just two days prior to his passing, spotlighted 'unniyappam' at the Ganapathi temple in Edappally. The post garnered over 53,000 likes and more than 15,000 shares.

In a heart-wrenching social media post, Eat Kochi Eat announced, "We are extremely devastated to share with you all that our beloved Rahul N Kutty has passed away. Kindly keep him in your prayers and wish we & his family find the strength to bear the loss of this beautiful soul." In 2021, Eat Kochi Eat was chosen by Facebook for their 'Community Accelerator Programme,' receiving $50,000 for community activities that year.

Rahul's personal account, 'rahulfoodscenes,' also boasted 42,000 followers. He used the platform to share videos of food and travel, his two passions. Rahul also documented his inspiring journey of physical transformation, citing his unwavering determination and willpower in his remarkable transition from 'fat to fit.'

Rahul is survived by his wife, Sreepriya, and their two-year-old son.
