Kerala: Burqa-Clad Man Enters Ladies Washroom In A Mall, Records Videos; Arrested
A man reportedly entered ladies' washroom in a popular mall in Kochi and recorded videos of the woman on his mobile phone.
The cops arrested the 23-year-old male, who is an IT professional and a B.Tech graduate. The incident occurred on Wednesday at Lulu Mall.

The accused works in a leading IT firm based at the Infopark. He wore a burqa and entered a women's washroom and placed his mobile in there, police told PTI.
According to the police, he placed his phone inside a compact cardboard box, creating a hole for the camera to capture visuals, and affixed it to the restroom door.
After placing the camera, the suspect came out from there and stood in front of the main door of the washroom, police said.
The mall's security personnel noted his suspicious behaviour and alerted the cops. He was then questioned by the cops after which a B.Tech graduate was booked for the offences under sections 354(C) (Voyeurism) and 419 (Impersonation) of the IPC and Section 66 E of the Information Technology Act.
He was then produced before a local court which remanded the accused to 14 days in judicial custody, an officer of Kalamassery police station said.
Following this, the burqa and the suspect's mobile phone were confiscated, leading to his apprehension. The officer mentioned that ongoing investigations aim to determine whether the accused had engaged in similar actions elsewhere in the past.
