Kasargod - Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express: Check Train Timings, Ticket Price, Stops & More
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 24 flagged off the Kasaragod - Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express along with eight others via video conferencing.
The Orange Vande Bharat will operate on the Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram route in Kerala. This will be the second train on this route in the Southern Railway zone. However, unlike the first train that goes through Kottayam, this one will pass through Alappuzha.

Indian Railways has introduced this second Vande Bharat on the Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram route due to the first train's high occupancy, exceeding 170 per cent since its launch. The Vande Bharat Express, characterized by its semi-high speed capability of 160 kmph, offers an all air-conditioned chair car train service.

Schedule Timings
Regular operation of the Vande Bharat Express (train no. 20631) from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram Central is scheduled to commence on September 27. Departing from Kasaragod at 7:00 am daily, except on Tuesdays, the train is expected to arrive at Thiruvananthapuram Central by 3:05 pm on the same day.

- Kasargod: 7 am (starting point)
- Kannur: 7.55 am
- Kozhikode: 8:57 am
- Tirur: 9.22 am
- Shoranur Jn: 9.58 am
- Thrisur: 10.38 am
- Ernakulam Jn: 11.45 am
- Alleppey: 12.32 pm
- Kollam Jn: 01.40 pm
- Thiruvananthapuram: 3.05 pm
Ticket Price:
The ticket price for traveling from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuram in a Chair car is Rs 1555, inclusive of an optional Rs 364 catering charge. If opting for an Executive Chair Car, the fare is Rs 2835, which includes an optional catering charge of Rs 419.

Ticket Price:
The ticket cost for the journey from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod in an AC chair car is Rs 1515, encompassing an optional Rs 323 catering charge. Alternatively, for an Executive Chair Car, the fare amounts to Rs 2800, with the option of an additional Rs 384 catering charge during ticket booking.
The authorities have conveyed that the routine operation of Vande Bharat Express (train no. 20632) on the Thiruvananthapuram Central-Kasaragod route will commence from September 26. The train is scheduled to depart from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 4:05 pm every day, except on Mondays, arriving at Kasaragod by 11:58 pm on the same day.
