Hanan Hamid: CM orders action against trolls
Kochi, July 27: Kerala CMO has directed Police to take action against people who posted allegedly insulting comments on social media against Hanan Hamid. The CM's office also directed District Collector to give protection to Hanan, third-year Chemistry student of Idukki College.
Hanan (21) was trolled on social media over her video of selling fish in uniform after college. 'People are making false allegations that it was for movie promotion. I have no other income. My main aim is to continue studies and support family, " told Hanan Hamid to ANI.
Hanan faced smear campaign after thousands cheered her selling fish after college to earn a living. Trolls hit out at her, alleging that her story is false and is part of a movie promotion. She was forced to appear before the media after the social media trolls reached on the brink of personal insults and harassment.
After a news article was published about her selling fish in the local market in order to support her family Hanan became an overnight sensation. The news went viral following pictures of her selling fish in her college uniform was circulated.
