Duronto Express lands in 'soup' for using water from toilet

Kochi, May 17: If you are a fan of the tomato soup served on the Duronto Express, think twice. According to reports a passenger travelling on the Duronto Express complained that the kitchen staff uses toilet water to make the soup!

This comes after passengers on the train filed a complaint on Sunday after a passenger on board alleged to have seen an employee of the pantry collect water from the toilet tap and added it to the tomato soup.

Passengers raised and filed a complaint with station master at the Kozhikode station. The agitated passengers even brought the train to a halt for over 15 minutes, protesting over the incident.

The train was bound to Mumbai when the incident took place. The station master at the Kozhikode station assured that necessary action would be taken in the incident.
