J&K's Baramulla Encounter Ends: 2 Terrorists Neutralized, Civilian Injured
The Kashmir Zone Police on Friday said that it has neutralized two terrorists a day after the encounter broke out on Thursday during which a civilian identified as Farooq Ahmad was injured near the site of the gunbattle.
In the ensuing encounter, 2 terrorists have been neutralized. Identification & affiliation being ascertained. Incriminating materials, arms & ammunition recovered," Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X.

Fresh exchange of firing took place between security forces and terrorists on Friday morning at the site of an encounter at Check Mohalla Nowpora in the Sopore area of north Kashmir, officials told PTI.
Based on inputs regarding the presence of militants in the Wanigam Payeen Kreeri area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir, security forces initiated a cordon and search operation on Thursday morning, as confirmed by a police official.
