The footage depicted a fiery scene with the car in flames, narrowly avoiding collisions with motorcycles and prompting some to abandon their vehicles in a desperate attempt to reach safety. Spectators from a nearby flyover recorded the pandemonium, which culminated in the car crashing into a divider.

The owner of the car, Jitendra Jangid, a resident of Divya Darshan Apartment in Mansarovar, revealed to The Times of India that the fire started in the engine due to smoke emerging from the air conditioning unit. Jangid had exited the car to inspect the source of the smoke when he discovered the engine ablaze.

This incident led to the handbrake becoming damaged, allowing the vehicle to move down the road uncontrolled. Despite immediate action to douse the fire, the car was beyond salvage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from this harrowing incident.
