Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma To Take Oath On Friday, PM Modi, Amit Shah To Attend Ceremony
Newly elected Chief Minister for Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma will swear into office on Friday in the Presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP chief JP Nadda. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Ramniwas Bagh outside Albert Hall Museum at 11:15 am.
BJP state president C P Joshi shared the details of the oath ceremony with the media and said, "There will be a grand oath-taking ceremony where CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, Diya Kumari, and Prem Chand Bairwa will take the oath of office. Public representatives, party workers, and people from across the state will participate in the ceremony."

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party's national president J P Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, as well as all senior leaders of the party and Chief Ministers of other states are also being invited to attend this program," said Joshi.
Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, who proposed Sharma's name as Chief Minister, is also expected to attend the event.
"Lakhs of invitations have been sent to party workers across the state. Additionally, VIPs, as well as prestigious social and political personalities, sportspersons, and litterateurs are also being invited," Joshi further added.
In 2018, Congress stalwart Ashok Gehlot also took the CM's oath at the Albert Hall Museum.
In the recently concluded polls in five states, BJP registered landslide victories in three states namely Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chattisgarh. In Rajasthan, the saffron front dethroned Ashok Gehlot-led Congress by emerging victorious on 155 seats out of 199 constituencies that went under polling. The Rajasthan assembly has 200 seats, and the election on one was postponed due to the death of a candidate. Congress managed to bag only 69 seats this time.
