As 2025 approaches, global communities from Sydney to Mumbai are celebrating with vibrant light displays and festivities. Auckland was the first major city to welcome the New Year, with thousands gathering downtown or on volcanic peaks to watch fireworks. A special light show honoured Indigenous people.
