WATCH | 'Won't Have To Vote Again', 'It Will Be Fixed': Donald Trump Tells Christians
At a recent presidential campaign organised by the conservative group 'Turning Point Action in Florida', Republican nominee Donald Trump made an unusual promise to the Christians.
He said, "Christians, you have to get out and vote. You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine. You won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you, Christians. I'm a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don't have to vote again, we'll have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote."

The remarks were made in the context of urging Christians to support him in the upcoming November presidential elections.
Trump's comments left some confusion about his intentions, especially given his legal challenges related to the 2020 Capitol riots and allegations of attempting to overturn his 2022 election loss.
Meanwhile, Kamala Harris' campaign has not directly addressed these specific remarks. However, spokesperson Jason Singer described Trump's overall speech as "bizarre" and "backward-looking."
In another recent statement, Trump mentioned that he would act as a dictator for a day to close the southern border with Mexico if he returns to power. He later downplayed these comments as a joke.
The US presidential race has become more competitive since Harris replaced President Biden as the Democratic nominee last week.
Harris' entry into the race has significantly narrowed Trump's lead in recent opinion polls.
