North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday had arrived in Singapore ahead of a historic summit with US President Donald Trump. However, he was not alone. Kim came along with his IL-76 transport plane carrying food, his bullet-proof limousine and a portable toilet. He even took his own portable toilet to the five-star hotel, where he was staying in Singapore.

Why Kim Jong-un travels with his personal toilet? Definitely not for hygiene purposes

This, however, is not the first time he has travelled with a toilet. In fact, toilets have always being engulfed with a layer of mystery when it comes to Kim.

But why toilet of all the things?

Here it is. According to Lee Yun-keol, who used to be a part of the North Korean Guard Command unit but is now a defector in South Korea, said that the supreme leader's stools contains valuable information. In other words, Kim doesn't want foreign intelligence to know about his health status by examining his stool samples.

In fact, it was previously reported by the Guardian that one of the vehicles in his convoy has a built-in toilet, which can only be used by him, and he even uses it within North Korea while conducting routine inspections at military bases and state-run factories!

Some of the other unusual travel habits are:

    • A human motorcade surrounded his car (which means a fleet of 12 bodyguards, dressed in full suits and black dress shoes, surrounding the vehicle and running alongside it)
    • He rides a slow-moving, bulletproof train
    • He brought a special noodle machine from Pyongyang
    • And he's never far away from one of his private airstrips
