Why Donald Trump’s secret service agents may testify against him
Some of former US president Donald Trump's secret service agents may testify as part of the federal investigation into his handling of classified documents, reports say.
According to Fox News' Bret Baier, multiple agents connected to Trump have been subpoenaed and are expected to testify before the DC grand jury likely on Friday.

"The grand jury appearances are related to the Special Counsel Jack Smith probe into the handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago," Baier said in a tweet.
This is in connection with the allegations made against Donald Trump that he mishandled sensitive materials which were retrieved from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida in August last year. Trump has denied all wrongdoing in connection to the top secret materials found at his home.
It was reported by the Washington Post that the Department of Justice and DBI have heard further evidence indicating possible obstruction caused by Trump and that there is evidence indicating the same. The former US president has also been accused in the case of pushing people around him to release statements saying that he returned all documents to the National Archives and Records Administration, the report also said.
The development comes as Trump was indicted by the Manhattan District Attorny's office following a probe related to hush money payments to an adult film star, Stormy Daniels.
