Sam Altman, the chief executive of AI firm OpenAI, has reportedly married his longtime partner, Oliver Mulherin, Reported NCB News. The pictures of the seaside rring ceremony have gone viralon the social media platform, X, formerly known as Twitter. The pictures, depicting Altman and Mulherin exchanging rings at a picturesque location, were said to be posted by Mulherin on Instagram, reported Hindustan Times.

The relationship between the CEO of ChatGPT-maker and his partner Mulherin has been kept away from the media's focus. However, they were captured together last year attending the US State Dinner organized for Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the country. In an interview with New York Magazine, the leader behind the buzzy conversational AI ChatGPT had mentioned that he and his boyfriend, Oliver Mulherin, want to have kids soon.

Taking to X, one of users wrote, "Sam Altman just got married today. Congratulations 👏." The user has also shared the key moments of the ceremony which would make your heart melt.

During the workweek, Altman and Mulherin share a house on Russian Hill in the city of San Francisco. On the weekends, a 25-year-old remodelled house on a private ranch in Napa, California, where Altman, a vegetarian, raises cows, is their residence, as reported by Business Insider.

    A native of the St. Louis area, influence was accumulated in the tech industry for years by Altman as the CEO of Y Combinator, a storied tech startup incubator and investment firm, while avoiding the public spotlight. But as the CEO of OpenAI, an increase in public appearances and media profile, including testifying before Congress, has been observed. He was named "CEO of the Year" in 2023 by Time magazine.

    Mulherin, an Australian software engineer who, with Altman, splits his time between San Francisco and a ranch in Napa, California, has been reported by The New York Times. A graduate in software engineering from the University of Melbourne, he has been engaged in various AI projects during his university tenure, focusing on language detection and game. However, his expertise lies in the realm of Internet-of-Things (IoT) and had become a part of the open-source coding organization IOTA Foundation in 2018, as per Times Now.
