Who Is Anurag Bajpayee? Indian-Origin CEO Caught In Boston Luxury Brothel Case
Anurag Bajpayee, the Indian-American CEO and co-founder of Gradiant-a clean water technology company-has been named in court documents related to a luxury brothel case in the Boston area. According to reports, Bajpayee is accused of engaging in transactions at exclusive brothels earlier in 2025, where clients allegedly paid steep hourly rates for sexual services. The New York Times reported his name among several others mentioned in legal filings connected to the investigation.
According to investigators, Anurag Bajpayee's name appeared on a special list that included professionals such as doctors, lawyers, government officials, and contractors. The clientele reportedly paid as much as $600 per hour for the services.

Officials noted that Bajpayee predominantly sought out Asian women. They also raised concerns that some of these women may have been victims of illegal trafficking from Asian countries.
Finding their boss' name in the list, Gradiant released an official statement standing by its CEO. "We have faith in the legal process and are optimistic that the situation will be resolved in a positive manner. Separately, Gradiant remains committed to its mission of advancing technological solutions to deliver clean water for communities around the world," the statement read.
