WhatsApp may launch free voice calling feature

Whatsapp
New York, Sept 1:According to media reports, mobile messaging service WhatsApp is set to launch a free voice calling feature for its 600 million active users. In fact, there have been recent changes in the interface of the app, suggesting that the feature is coming soon.

Accoding to a report by thefusejoplin.com, "the leaked images of the upcoming user interface shows that the app has been enabled with other language translations which will be displayed at the time a person receives a call via WhatsApp." The translation feature, which is available in the latest version of WhatsApp implies that the voice calling plug-in is on it's way.

WhatsApp's new owner Facebook, however, shows no sign of such an app. The mobile app has witnessed a 15 percent rise in its traffic since the announcement that Facebook is acquiring the service. In fact, WhatsApp has crossed 50 million active users in India alone.
