‘We Will Respond With Even Greater Force’: Israel PM Netanyahu Warns Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday visited the Palmachim Air Force Base, signalling continued military resolve amid heightened regional tensions.

Accompanied by Defence Minister Israel Katz and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Netanyahu met air force personnel and reviewed ongoing operations.

High-Level Visit To Palmachim Base

The visit to the strategically important Palmachim Air Force Base came as Israel maintained sustained aerial operations. Netanyahu commended the air force for its role in the ongoing campaign, describing their actions as decisive and necessary.

Speaking during the visit, he said, "We continue to strike Iran with force," adding, "our pilots are over the skies of Tehran and also over the skies of Lebanon. Hezbollah made a very big mistake when it attacked us."

He reiterated the message in similar terms, stating, "We continue striking Iran with full force. Our pilots are over Tehran and Lebanon.."

Warning To Hezbollah And Lebanon

Netanyahu also issued a direct warning regarding Hezbollah's actions, suggesting that further retaliation could follow. Referring to recent developments, he said, "Lebanon made a very big mistake attacking us."

He added regarding Hezbollah: "We have already responded forcefully, and we will respond with even greater and additional force."

The remarks underline Israel's position that it is prepared to escalate its response if attacks continue from across its northern border.

Military Campaign Continues

The Prime Minister's visit and statements come amid continued cross-border tensions involving Iran and Hezbollah. By appearing alongside Israel Katz and Eyal Zamir at the air base, Netanyahu projected unity within Israel's political and military leadership.
